Maybe a basic, one-shoulder piece and wrist guards with a simple belt (or belt with bags since they're a nomad race with extra bag slots), maybe the backpack mog, although I haven't unlocked it yet. Just to note: I just observed the same problem: Murloc Transmogs worked fine yesterday, but are gone today.
